Terms of service
Plain terms for a study tool. Using Quirepage means agreeing to them; if anything here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.
Last updated 24 September 2026.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Do Dinh Phuc (“we”), who runs quirepage.com and the Quirepage application (“the service”). They apply from the moment you create an account. The privacy policy explains how your data is handled and forms part of these terms.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to use Quirepage and to buy Pro. One person per account; keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used them.
3. What the service does
Quirepage reads course material you upload, maps its topics, finds the questions inside it, writes new practice questions in the same style, marks your answers against the mark scheme it infers, and schedules what to revisit. Much of this is done by AI models. AI output can be wrong: a generated question may be malformed, a mark may be unfair, an explanation may be mistaken. Treat it as practice, check it against your own material and your course’s official resources, and flag anything that looks wrong so it can be improved. We make no promise about exam results.
4. Your material
You keep every right you have in what you upload and in what you write. You give us a licence to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you, which ends when you delete it or your account.
You are responsible for having the right to upload material. Lecture notes and past papers are usually copyrighted by your institution or lecturer; personal study use of material you were given is normally fine, but redistributing it, or uploading material you obtained improperly, is not. We will remove content on a valid notice from a rights holder.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to cheat in an assessment, or in any way your institution prohibits.
- Do not upload unlawful material, or material containing other people’s personal data.
- Do not probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent plan limits.
- Do not resell access or share an account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Free includes the whole product on up to two courses, with the limits shown under Settings, Billing. Limits may be adjusted with notice in the app.
- Pro is sold as a monthly or a three-month subscription at the prices shown at checkout. Prices include applicable taxes where the checkout says so. The same Pro applies on the website and in the iPhone app, wherever it was bought.
- On the website, payments are processed by Polar, which is the merchant of record and issues your invoice. In the iPhone app they are processed by Apple through the App Store. The seller’s own terms apply to the payment itself.
- Both plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel a website purchase from Settings, Billing, Manage billing, and an App Store purchase in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
- Refunds: App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. For a website purchase, email us within 14 days of a charge. If Pro has not been meaningfully used in that period we refund it in full. Otherwise refunds are at our discretion, except where the law gives you a right to one.
- If a payment fails, Pro continues for a short grace period and then the account returns to Free with all data intact.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it, and it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Features may change. If we ever discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days’ notice and keep data export working until then.
8. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time under Settings, Data and privacy; that ends the agreement and removes your data as the privacy policy describes. We can end it for a breach of section 5, or with 30 days’ notice for any other reason, refunding any unused part of a paid period.
9. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for the outcome of any examination or assessment, or for loss of data you have not exported. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud, or any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
10. General
- These terms are governed by the law of the country where Do Dinh Phuc is based, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
- If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
